The Countess’s summer residence, it soon became a favourite holiday and meeting place for famous personalities including the poet Giosuè Carducci, who chose to end his days here.

The villa is open to visitors, who are able to stroll through its botanical grounds, with an impressive variety of native and exotic trees.
