Cultural events continue at the Parish Church of San Donato in Polenta.

On Saturday, September 16, 2026, at 4:30 p.m., the “111th Carduccian Gathering” will take place.

The event will be led by Federica Marinoni, a speaker from the University of Pavia, who will explore the topic “Carducci, the Pedantic Friends and the Friends of Friends.”

This will be followed by a recitation of the ode “The Church of Polenta” by Ilario Sirri.

At the end of the gathering, a traditional rustic countryside snack will be offered at the former elementary school, accompanied by the ringing of the ancient bell of the Polenta community. The refreshments are offered by the Municipality of Bertinoro.

The event is organized by the “Amici di Polenta” Cultural Association.
