Giardini della Rocca, Via Frangipane 6 – 4:00 PM
Launched in 2024 by Ravenna Festival to support the territories affected by the floods, this year the Romagna in Fiore series will see Bertinoro take centre stage for its closing event, with a concert by Zé Ibarra on Saturday, May 24 at the Giardini della Rocca.
An event that Bertinoro is proud to host in the year marking the Centenary of Hospitality Feast.
A thirty-year-old singer-songwriter and one of the most closely watched artists on today’s Brazilian music scene, Zé Ibarra is among the most convincing heirs of the vibrant Brazilian musical season of the early 1970s, the era of Caetano Veloso and Milton Nascimento, when bold psychedelia and the rhythmic continuum of funk naturally blended with the most refined expressions of música popular brasileira.
His songs, radiant in their subtle warmth, gently touch the sweetest melancholies that dwell within us, moving between pop delights, open-hearted ballads and soaring samba-soul atmospheres. These sounds are destined to truly take flight in the setting suspended between sky and earth at the Rocca of Bertinoro, where history looks out over the sunset each evening—just as it has always happened with the finest music coming from Brazil.

The festival is organised by Ravenna Festival with the support of the Regione Emilia-Romagna, in collaboration with ATER Fondazione, the Provincia di Ravenna, the Provincia di Forlì-Cesena and the municipalities of the participating locations.
