On Sunday, October 4, the “Romagna Peace March” will take place. The event aims to promote peace and dialogue among peoples and to give a voice to those who create, support, and defend peace.

The march will start in Forlì, at Piazza Saffi, at 8:45 a.m., with a gathering for participants arriving by bicycle. The bicycle procession will then depart at 9:15 a.m., heading towards Forlimpopoli.

The event will take place at the same time as the Tin Bota Romagna Half Marathon.

It will also be possible to start from Cesena using your own vehicle, again heading towards Forlimpopoli. The meeting point will be at the Hippodrome at 9:15 a.m., organized by the Cesena Peace Centre.

The meeting point in Forlimpopoli will be Piazza Garibaldi, at approximately 9:45–10:00 a.m.

From 10:30 a.m., the march will continue on foot towards Bertinoro.

The procession is expected to arrive at approximately 1:00 p.m. at the Gardens of the Fortress (Giardini della Rocca) in Bertinoro.

The event will continue with greetings and live music by “L’ESSENZIALE BUSKERS” Various local associations will have information stands at the event, and the Interreligious Museum of Bertinoro will also be open.

A food stand run by the "Il Molino" Civil Protection of Bertinoro will be available, with the option to have lunch in the picnic area.

IMPORTANT: The Peace March belongs to everyone. For this reason, participants are kindly asked to bring ONLY PEACE FLAGS.

Shuttle buses will be available for the return journey from Piazza del Monumento al Vignaiolo to Forlimpopoli.
Departure times: 2:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

PLEASE NOTE: Water will not be distributed during the march. For this reason, participants are encouraged to bring their own reusable water bottles, bottles, or thermoses. We kindly ask everyone not to leave any waste behind, in order to preserve the beauty of the local area.
