IN CRESCENDO - AMALIA, PRIMA ALBA, SOFIA DI VAIO
The first concert of Donne in Blues ("Women in Blues") features Amalia, with her intense and sincere soul-pop voice; the Milanese collective Prima Alba and their urban, experimental songwriting; and young Sofia Di Vaio, performing original tracks and international covers.
AMALIA – Originally from Rome but based in Bologna, Amalia is a soul-pop singer-songwriter with black and gospel influences. After studying in California and singing in gospel choirs, she rediscovered her voice by writing in Italian. With her EP Pace Libera Tutti (2024) and its recent second part Giocattoli Rotti (2025), Amalia explores fragility and rebirth with intensity and style. She is one of the artists selected by Spotify for EQUAL Italia.
PRIMA ALBA – This collective was born in 2025 in Milan’s multicultural, boundary-pushing music scene. Ten young artists blend rap, electronic music, and generational storytelling, creating an original and powerful project. Tied to the independent label Ad Astra Dischi, Prima Alba is an evolving musical experiment—raw, sincere, and contemporary.
SOFIA DI VAIO – Though still very young, Sofia has a strong, nuanced voice and is currently working on her debut EP at the iconic Fonoprint Studios. Her live performances mix original songs and international covers, showcasing her charisma and stage presence.

SYNTHETIC HEARTBEAT – GIUZE, BOLENA, TADDE
The second concert of Donne in Blues ("Women in Blues") features the emotional depth of Giuze, the dancey glitter energy of Bolena, and the electronic, visionary soundscapes of Tadde. Emerging music comes to life—live.
GIUZE – The stage name of Giusy Capasso, born in Treviso, Giuze grew up with a guitar in her hands and songwriting in her heart. For her, music is exploration, expression, and an open mind. With intense lyrics and a voice that cuts straight through, Giuze brings an intimate yet powerful project to the stage—born from raw emotion and shaped by sincerity.
BOLENA – A Piedmont-based duo formed by Giulia (vocals) and Paolo (bass), Bolena is an explosion of alternative dance, glitter, and freedom. Their debut EP Bellissimo was born in a farmhouse turned creative studio-space, radiating the energy of those who need to escape and dance—blending '80s synths, nostalgia, and a hunger for living without limits.
TADDE – The first artist signed to the Ad Astra label, Tadde is a visual songwriter with a vivid imagination, steering his music toward electronic textures. His debut single Tenebre ("Shadows") just dropped, teasing an EP set for release this autumn—a journey through shifting shadows and evolving sounds.

DAYDREAM AWAKENING – DADA SUTRA, DDUMA, MEZZANERA
The Donne in Blues series concludes with three extraordinary artists: Dada Sutra's post-punk poetry, Dduma's dreamlike Salento-rooted sounds, and Mezzanera's Italo-Ghanese soulful introspection. Fresh, original music to discover live.
DADA SUTRA
The brainchild of Caterina Dolci, a Milanese singer-songwriter and bassist (also member of Bambole di Pezza). After her 2022 debut EP, she released her critically acclaimed first album questo amore mortale ("this mortal love") in 2024—a poignant work weaving post-punk and dreamscapes, dissecting Western myths and the need for rebellion.
DDUMA
Stage name of Chiara Pizzi, a Salento-born artist now based in Milan. After years in dance, she immersed herself in music, channeling her roots into intimate, shadowy soundscapes. She debuted with a single for Maciste Dischi’s "Sale Grosso" compilation and is now crafting her first album with producer Machweo.
MEZZANERA
Alias of Miriam Dartey, an Italo-Ghanese singer-songwriter shaped by cross-cultural influences. Following her stint on XFactor 2021 and artistic exploration in Amsterdam, she honed a sound blending soul, urban, and introspective lyricism. Her songs explore human duality—identity, discovery, and the spaces in between.
