Franco Arminio is one of the protagonists of the centenary celebrations of the Festa dell’Ospitalità: roots and future will intertwine month after month in a calendar of performances, readings, and concerts that will lead each guest up to the festivities of the first weekend of September. The event is part of the preview of Entroterre Festival.

A walking experience through the village will take place with the poet, starting from the Rocca and ending with a concluding talk in Piazza della Libertà.

The Care of Vision – Poetic Walk

In this first moment, the poet offers his words as torches to illuminate the present, guiding the audience through an experience of observation, listening, and shared presence. Between visions and civic orations, Arminio asks questions and searches for answers with vibrant determination, inviting participants to rediscover attention toward the world and others, in search of shared meaning and renewed closeness.

The Grace of Fragility – Meeting with Franco Arminio

The second moment becomes a journey into our vulnerabilities, to unite them and transform them into a quiet strength, a gentle objection to the arrogance and carelessness of our time. Through readings of his poems, Arminio explores both his most intimate fragilities and those of the places he crosses, weaving together inner and outer worlds, melancholy and intensity. It is a way of understanding poetry not as linguistic engineering, but as a ferment of new communal life: a thoughtful and joyful life in a time in which we are both falling ill and healing. Poetry does not save us, but it helps us recognize that sometimes falling is the only way to stand up again.
